Great for a starter HDTV

Price, size is perfect if you move a lot or live in an apartment/condo

Yes
I've had this set for 2 1/2 years and have loved it, no problems to steer you away from it. I bought it at Best Buy back in 2003 for $1399 and its been worth every penny.
42" is the perfect size for a smaller condo or house, it's been in a 4-bedroom house, 1-bedroom apartment and 2-bedroom condo and it's never felt too big or too small.
This TV is better sitting on a very low table, since the whole case includes the part below the screen. I have it now on a normal-size coffee table and it seems to sit up too high.
No complaints about the picture, only issue I've ever had is the convergence seems to lose focus every now and then, and I have to reset it manually. The auto-focus thing in the menu works like crap, so you need to do it manually to get any good result.
