This flat panel HDTV is really great no problems after 3 months
Pros
Great picture and sound, vivid color, great audio, low-glare screen, energy-efficient, quiet operation.
Cons
Warmup time is 18 sec to get a picture, a bit of a bother.

The Bottom Line:
This is a great DLP flat panel HDTV. If your viewing situation is like ours (we're NOT hanging any TV on our wall) then consider this or its 46inch brother.
After looking at our needs (replace a 27in. Trinitron that was losing color in one corner) we came down to this particular TV because we wanted HDTV. Our criteria may be similar to others.
We have a corner-viewing situation so we do not have to have a thin flat-panel TV. Viewing distance is about 10 feet, so we did not need a 50-60 inch screen size. We wanted good audio, ability to upgrade to home theater later, ASTC tuner (we get good broadcast HD signals about 25 miles from San Francisco) built-in, and no side speakers (fits better into the corner of our family room). This TV met all our criteria and has excellent color and picture quality. Yes, the viewing angle is less favorable than plasma or LCD flat panels, but we don't watch our TV from off-angles. The brightness is fine and the low-glare screen is very nice. Watch out on the larger DLP TVs, they all have the same lamp energy and when you spread the same energy over a larger screen the average brightness goes down quite a bit. This TV has great black levels. Much better than LCD, similar to plasma. And no pixelation.
So, after 3 months with it are we happy? You bet! This is a great mid-size TV and meets all of our needs. Oh, did I mention that it runs on about half the power of a similar-sized plasma TV? Those things are really just room heaters that happen to also show a TV image.
