Fantastic Television

Picture and sound quality are truly stunning
Cons
Needs new $350 user replaceable bulb every 3-4 years, no big deal given the quality.

My 55" Mitsu LCD finally died after 9 years and we researched high and low as to what to replace it with. We have an extremely large 'bedroom suite' (at least 20' from the wall with the TV to the head of the bed) so we needed to get a large set.
After much reading and going out looking at sets we decided on a DLP, for the brightness, picture clarity and overall set longevity.
After comparing lots of brands and models we chose Samsung and a friend told us about TVAuthority.com.
We picked the HL-6167W ( not the super high 1080-i model which was over $1000 more) and could not be happier. This is one awesome set. The experience at TVAuthority.com was amazingly great also.
