Phenomenal image - some quirky features
My 1994 Sony 27" TV still worked great. I just got a hankering for the HDTV, especially with the NFL playoffs coming up. Watching a game in HDTV just can't be compared.
While shopping, I immediately excluded Plasma screens due to the fact that they have such bad burn-in problems. Plus...

Not Perfect, But Close Enough For Me
To get directly to the point, this is a very, very good TV and I highly recommend it. After much research and soul searching, I bought the Samsung HLN4365W instead of a Sony 42" grand Wega LCD Projector TV, even though I've been a Sony fan for years. The Sony LCD projector looked great and was... Read full review »

The $3000 television had a remarkable picture for 2 1/2 years. I would highly recommend this product if you want to have a high end television with a very short life span. If you buy the Samsung make sure purchase the extended warranty
In July 2004 we purchased a Samsung HLN4365W. Since the time of purchase, we have had two major problems with the set. The first on was in May 2005 when the color wheel assembly had to be replaced. The second one was in December 2005 when the light engine had to be replaced. If we did not purchase... Read full review »
Reliability - Disaster: But to Sammy's credit
It was a big deal for me to buy this. big size, technology, etc.
The bottom fell out after the one year warranty expired.
Have had two major repairs to the tune of $1110 !!!
Now I can't trust Sammy or their authorized service.
Am I a one in a thousand or a guinea pig?

Was not my tv.
Got the tv and installed it my house. I didn't care about the sound from the TV. TVs have never had good speakers. If anyone wants a good surround system, should go out and buy a receiver and some good speakers. The fan was noisy. Took me 3 days to calibrate the colors. I was expecting more from...
