The Bottom Line:  Relatively low price for great picture and large screen. Perfect HTPC companion
I purchased mine from Nice Electronics, one of the sellers listed on epinions and the product arrived promptly. The version I bought was the factory refurbished one to save money but it looks completely new to me.

After hauling it up to my third floor apartment, I finally set it up. In my case, I had built an HTPC to accomodate the spiffy new DLP TV. My configuration is:

Atlon XP 2400
MyHD 120 HDTV card with the DVI daughter card
M-Audio Delta 2496
Sapphire Radeon 9600
VideoLogic 5.1 DTS sound system
Terk 46 HDTV antenna

I chose to use the DVI connector to the Samsung for maximum clarity. One of the pleasant surprises I got was my Radeon 9600 recognized the Samsung and then provided resolutions that were only for the HDTV. With that issued automatically solved, I kicked off my MyHD program to enjoy HDTV.

At first, the picture came out off center and did not take up the full screen real estate. After messing with both the TV controls and the MyHD hardware settings a bit, I finally figured that I had to set the MyHD to output at 1280x720p and also click the "output to computer monitor" box on the second tab. For the Samsung, I had to select the "expand TV" and presto!, everything was perfect.

So I started to channel surf through the HDTV channels that were available. Each one came through very nicely including the channel where the Athens Olympics will be shown on in full HDTV 1080i.

With that part satisfied, I tested the TV's ability to display DVDs. The two DVDs I tested with were Lord of the Rings: Two Towers Extended Edition and the Terminator 2 Extreme Edition. Both of them came through very clearly in the proper colors. My setup had a real movie theater feel when I ran those two high quality DVDs.
