Samsung HL-N567W 56 in. HDTV DLP TV

I purchased the Samsung Set after reading Jaymend's article. My set was manufactured in November 2003. The picture is excellent from both the Samsung 931 DVD player and my Bell Express Vu Satellite receiver (with PVR). However, this set suffers from the exact same audio/video synchronization problem described in Jaymend's article. Samsung's local authorized repair depot claims not to have heard of the problem before! They are investigating so they can make only one service call and have the parts to make the repair. I'll update this review after the repair, or if I get told it can't be fixed. (Update One) Service rep called back to say that Samsung is aware of the problem and working on a fix. He expects it will be the end of April/04 before it is available! Stay tuned.
