HL-P5685W
Pros
Visually stunning; great picture quality. Appears to float in the air in a darkened room.
Cons
Need the Samsung component rack that is made for this set because of the pedistal.
Recommended it?

This is the same as the 50" model... just larger
Delivered in a large box on a wooden pallet... about 240 lbs. so make sure you can handle it if there is only one delivery person.
Plugged it into the wall and connected the Direct TV line and it played great. The manual is pretty comprehensive and the on-screen menu is thorough. Plenty of inputs if you want to hook up everything separately. I chose to go through a Sony STR-DE695 center to hook up all of the component inputs and surround sound. It really enhances the overall experience with the expanded audio. Only problem is that the picture-in-picture from DirectTV is still in the little window from the DirectTV box. I still haven't figured out if it is possible to get two DirectTV channels using the TV's PIP split-screen feature.
