Samsung HP-S4273 42" HDTV Plasma TV

I got this Samsung HP-S4273 a week ago from Best Buy. Since I'm a new convert to HD I'm still getting used to it. There is no doubt that the picture clarity is far superior to digital cable. The tv itself is just fine, the colors are rich as expected from a plasma. My only problem is that the local channels claim HD but the signal keeps changing between non-HD and HD with the result that horizontal black bars appear on either side. Same with network news. All-HD channels like DiscoveryHD and HDNet don't have this problem. Maybe it's just a matter of getting used to it. Otherwise I am very satisfied with this tv, and I expect it will prove to be among the best of its kind.
