Don't Buy the Samsung HPT 5-54
Without a wordy review, bottom line is don't cheap out and buy this plasma TV. The 720p resolution doesn't look anywhere near as good as the 1080p. The plasma screens DO have screen-burn. Very Happy so Far
Purchased 21 Dec 07 from local HHgregg. Its really a nice tv. I am waiting on my HD cable box so I can use my HDMI connection and see if I notice the difference.

Terrific 720P plasma television.
Outstanding picture quality on well transmitted high def tv stations. Standard def over analog channels is fair but watchable. Stadard Def from digital channels vary.
