Samsung sings off key. (heck it has no voice)
Pros
It's the nicest looking door stop in the house.
Cons
It has approximately a 1 year life expectancy and customer support has a bad attitude.

I purchased this unit exactly 2 years ago for $1,000. I use it about 1 time a week. It was sent back for repairs under warranty at 1 year because it could no longer play DVD's. It would play CD's, TV audio and the Radio but not DVD's. The first time it was covered under warranty and everyone was helpful. At that time I was told it was a common problem and they had a fix for it
Now, a year later, it has the exact same problem and Samsung wants $162.50 plus shipping to fix it. Apparently it is a design flaw.
I am going to purchase a stand alone DVD player because its not worth putting $162.50+ into this unit only for it to break again within another year. (You would think that the good folks at Samsung would warrant their repair for another year but they don't... only 3 months.)
I now need to purchase a new DVD player to hook up to this over-sized remote control receiver. You can bet I will NEVER purchase another Samsung product.
