The Bottom Line:
You will not be dissappointed if you are correctly informed about the iPhone.
Everybody says the iPhone is indeed the best phone in the world, yet it seems like few have seen or used a real one. And even fewer yet have used both the iphone and the Samsung Instinct, but I have. A friend of mine has an iPhone and I have the Instinct, and we have had friendly battles about the iPhone vs the Instinct. Even though the everyone says the iPhone is so much better than the instinct, I have yet to see and large advantages, and currently see only two: the iPhone has "Apps," and it has more levels of volume. Now to explain my thoughts of those two. The iPhone on the Apps are great if your the type of person who wants to spend your time downloading stupid programs to spend more of your time on, with absolutely no benefit. The iPhone Apps are second to none at making you a boring, non-social person who stares at the iWast-My-Money-and-Time - my nickname for the iPhone. Every app I have seen on the iPhone is just a waste of time and it is a program that you can do elsewhere, and some of them are just plain, flat-out stupid. I mean, a real estate app?? Who moves so much and looks at real estate so frequently that the need to look at it on their freakin phone!!! I mean get a life!! Every app on the iPhone is just a mimic of something you can do on your computer, and they are typically of worse quality. So, as a result, I have decided that I am glad I do not have the iPhone because it would just be a huge temptation to waste my time on pointless games, like chess againts a computer, when instead you could be social and play an actual human being, what this world is seeming to stray away from far to often. So, in the end, I really appreciate my Instinct because it has all the useful programs that don't waste your time (like internet, navigation and email) and none of the ones that are stupid. My only other gripe is the volume. When on a plane I have to turn the volume all the way up for a chance at hearing my music and videos, and only having 8 options for volume does leave much wiggle room.
