Samsung Touch of Color LN52A650 52" HDTV LCD TV

Great LCD TV.  Simple controls, not too terribly difficult to set up.  But if you don't know much about TVs/electronics, you may want to get someone to help you set up the sound to your entertainment system, calibrate your colors, etc.  Once that's squared away, you'll have a fantastic system.  The remote control is great with soft-keys to accomplish a variety of tasks. Their are plenty of input/output, including HDMI, to accommodate most home systems; though, you should double check what you need versus the specs before buying.  The quality of the picture is fantastic, even at 52".  One thing to keep in mind, the LN52A650 can have quite a bit of glare due to the glossy screen.  If you room is bright, you should probably get the LN52A630 instead -- the same TV but with a matte screen.  

Finally, the touch-of-color (red) looks great with dark brown furniture.  It reduces the "big and ugly piece of electronics" fear that many people have!
