Best LCD on the market.
Pros
Accurate colors, great depth, minimal calibration from the factory settings. Plenty of inputs
Cons
Screen is a little too reflective to be used in a living room situation.

The Bottom Line:
This TV outperfoms Sony and you are not stuck paying for a name.
I was set on purchasing the series 6. But on the day I decided to go and get it I came across the beauty of the series 7. I was at Fry's and they had this wonderful TV for only $1899. Due to the current selling market for higher end TV sets they knocked off $100 bucks. This TV is extremely well packaged. I was able to put it in our trailer and throw ratchet tie downs on it and the box did not deform at all. My first sign of a well made product. Got it home and unpacked it and set it up. I went to do a calibration on this set and was suprised to find that it was nearly perfectly set up from the factory, the next sign of a well made product. We also purchased the Samsung BD-P1600 Blu-ray player to use with this TV. All I can say is WOW. The colors, depth and detail are beyond my expectations of what can be done. Even my old DVD's look like new. As a test I put in one of my favorite movies for brilliant colors and fast action, The Fifth Element. It was hard to believe that the movie I was watching was not 12 years old but had been filmed only yesterday. Also with its speaker array you do not have to stare at grills that hold the speakers like other TVs do. It is like a beatiful picture frame.
