The Bottom Line:
For the average home consumer, this is an excellent choice! I could find none better for the price.
This is my first flat panel TV. I was reluctant to spend the extra money on a flat panel. We had always had CRT TVs before. However, when I saw the T3253H next to the other flat panel TVs I was very impressed and started thinking seriously about buying my first one.
The frame is beautiful! It looks like a piano finish. The blue light at the bottom adds elegance to an already beautiful TV. The picture is very nice. There are enough inputs that I did away with my A/B switch behind the old TV. I have satellite, over-the-air antenna, VCR/DVD player and the XBox all connected.
I was surprised to find all the digital over-the-air signals. I didn't realize that several local stations were broadcasting multiple signals.
I also read that HD is not really beneficial with a 32" screen so, the clarity I'm enjoying doesn't even come with the additional cost of a HD receiver.
Setup was very easy and the remote has all the functionality laid out very well. Not a lot of menus to fumble through. All the things I do most are done with a touch of a button.
One thing that still concerns me is that when the back light goes out, I was told to expect a $300 repair bill. They also told me that rarely a single pixel or pixel-row will go out. That cannot be fixed.
So far (after 3 months) I'm very satisfied with the TV and believe I made the right choice. Time will tell, but I recommend this TV highly!
