It's great if you only want a tv for two years!

I purchased this tv about 2.5 years ago at Best Buy. About a month ago my screen went completely black. After taking it to a Samsung authorized repair man I was told it would cost $450 to replace the bulb. He said this is very common for Samsung LCD TV's. Google it, and you will find hundreds of people with the same story as me. So basically I paid $1,000 for a tv that lasts 2 years. I spent many hours fighting with the Samsung service people but they never waivered from their policy that once it's past the 1 year warranty there is nothing they can/will do for you. I'll never purchase a Samsung product again.
