I received this camera as a gift. At first it seemed to be better than my previous canon cameras, but as days went by it seemed not to be as good of a product that it seemed. First, the pictures quality wasn't that good, because the auto lighting system wasn't working properly. Then when I was trying to put new 35 mm film in, it wouldn't except it and flashed the symbol to reload. I believe I did it about 40 times and then on a good try it put up the symbol for being loaded. The strange thing is that I read the directions and put it in right. I know it happens to almost all cameras, but with my previous canons it seem to load in a maximum of 3 tries. Another problem that I noticed was the delay. I know that it has to focus, but it was entirely to long. At the zoo I could of had some great shots but missed them because of the delay of the camera. The final problem was that the zoom makes to much noise which really isn't a huge problem but it still adds to the list. One good point about the camera was that it had a easy to read digital display not like the old canons standard/old display. I will keep using this one trying to load it, but in the future a new canon will supply my photographic needs. Lastly, there is no date display on pictures.
