Great Monitor
I bought this screen at Best Buy for $199 with direct rebate, what I love, instead of mail in rebate. Its a great screen, no dead pixels, adjusting the colors will take some time with the Magic software but the results are much better then with the standard settings. I am a gamer and was not sure... Not as good as other Samsungs I own
I got this monitor for a good price and I have had great experiences with other Samsung models, so I was optimistic. Other reviewers are right it is bright out of the box, but that is easy to fix. Nice looking screen, but after returned it...
I bought this monitor from Best Buy on sale for $200, and brought it home. After I hooked it up I found 8 dead pixels on the brand new monitor. So I returned it, got it home and again, more dead pixels on a different monitor. I took it back and will not buy another. Read full review »
Works for gaming but lousy for office use.
First, my primary use fore this monitor is playing games, in particular, WoW. It works fine for that, no problems. However, as a text monitor its just plain lousy.
