great monitor for the price. Not as good as the Apple 20" Cinema display, but that is $700. The diff is mainly on the viewing angle and type detail--impotant if you are a graphic designer. Moving left to right of this monitor you will see color balance shifts--but mostly, your time is spent right in front anyway. Crisp color + contrast + good adjusytments. It comes w dvi and analog cables (not described on box)--so don't let the salesperson sell you one. And where else do you geta 3 yr warranty?
If you have an older pc or mac--make sure the video card supprorts the 1440 x 900 resolution--which is wider that the standard pc displays. Otherwise it will stretch the image wider to fit widescreen.
