No more Samsung for me!
Pros
Looks good. Samsung name (formerly respected).
Cons
Can't list them all in 15 words maximum!

No
Samsung DVD-VR330 (bought 3/2007) "worked" good for a few months. However, the audio and video were never in sync, and this is disconcerting and not what I would call acceptable. Samsung's service reply was "please call us, many things could cause this, like having other components connected to your A/V system"! Duh! I have several devices connected! Is this unusual or unethical? (Cable main is directly connected to the Samsung, no other devices ahead of it.) Obviously, Samsung chose to disregard the problem.
Then, a few weeks ago, I started having problems using just about ANY disc, including discs that had been previously recorded on this unit. No point in having it serviced, because the cost for labor (covered under 90 warranty) would far exceed the unit's worth. Looks like I bought a DVD recorder, but ended up with just a VCR.
I'm just glad I was able to copy most of the material I needed to get onto DVDs before this trash stopped working.
