Basically my first MiniDV purchase and even though it only cost me 420.00 US, it was well worth that price and more. Nice features abound on this cam. The Digital FX are a nice touch as well. For a beginner, this cam will more than suffice to fill your amateur filmmaking needs. Hard to find any reviews online for this cam as apparently it's a very recent model.
