Very good for its intended use
I bought my Samsung SC-X210L a month and a half ago for one purpose: recording my mountain biking adventures on the North Shore of Vancouver, BC. I was interested in Samsung's previous offering last year, but it was too limited so I decided to wait. I'm glad I did.

Very bad video quality & AVI files don't play properly in Quicktime
I purchased this camcorder a few days ago while I was in New York attending the auto show. I shot several videos and still photos of an installation I helped create and downloaded them to my Apple PowerBook G4 today to view. The still photos are practically worthless. GREAT camera , and you CAN use it with a MAC :)
I am a Mac user and bought this camera knowing the problems there are using it on my ibook. This morning after about 30min playing about i have it working on both Quicktime and in iMovie.
The fix is to download the old 105l codecs from here
