Its a phone! Its a PDA! No, its a SPH-i700!!! Yay!

The Bottom Line:
If you can take care of it, they are great! I loved mine until I broke it.
I have carried a PDA (windows based) for 4 years. A cellphone for 10 years (since I was 13. Both are necessary, unfortunately.
Well, I say I have carried a PDA for 4 years. In reality, I have owned one for 4 years, and carry it only when I travel. It is too big of a hassle to lug around everywhere I go. So, it stays in the car or in my desk or briefcase, and only comes out when I travel - and usually only because it is my mp3 player.
So, after a long sales spiel by the fine people of Verizon, I bought one (actually, I bought a Treo 600 from ATT first...thats another story). You can read the specs, I will tell you of my experiences instead.
I loved it for about 10 days. It was great as a phone (reception, quality, styling, etc...). I was not a fan of the touch screen only, with virtually no key-lock function. However, this was remedied by a program I found on the net. Other than that, everything was great, and especially great having it all in one device. Until....
I cracked the screen, in the first two weeks. Turns out, its rather easy to do. And, no matter how easy/common of an ailment, the remedies are slim. No one could fix it. Verizon would not replace it under warranty. So, I filed an insurance claim and had it replaced. Immediately, I put my baby (the phone, not my real baby) up for sale on Ebay, knowing I could not care for her like a good father should.
So, about the phone. If you are a warrior like me, it might be wise to consider its frailty. If you are gentle, keep it in its case, a purse, etc..., they are amazingly handy.
Other notes -
The internet browser is not very zippy - not a good thing when you pay nearly a laptops price for a phone, and 50 a month for the data usage.
Size - The phone is not small. It is the size of a large PDA. This isnt bad, but looks/feels kinda goofy when you use it as a phone.
No Key Guard - Without an easy to operate key guard, I found myself calling people all the time without knowing it.
Touchscreen - Besides breaking easily for me, I found dialing while driving to often be difficult as there was no texture to the keys.
