Cons Graininess near edges at higher resolutions, base is not as sturdy as other monitors

I bought this value-priced monitor in summer 2004 after my KDS 19 inch monitor failed. Unfortunately, the market is geared more towards LCD monitors so there was not much selection in the CRT market. Pros Great monitor for the price.
Cons Terrible limited 3 year parts and labor warranty unless you are Samsung.

Four + months after buying I was very pleased with the performance of this monitor until it just died! No power, nothing and in the middle of a very important word document. Pros Very nearly flat. Crisp, bright, accurate display. Space-saving case and frame.
Cons OSD menus cryptic... took some time to decipher. Some grain on edges. Setup CD quirks.
Recommended it? Yes

At this price range (under $200), you aren't going to find a 'Flat' CRT that's really Flat Flat. There's a black mask that frames the tube, but if you look around that mask, you'll see some curve to the actual tube (most noticeable when the monitor is in a brightly lit room, at the corners).

Pros Overall excellent image quality, great price, nice design, reliable name.
Cons Blacks are a bit light, sharpness is reduced at the edges of the screen.
Recommended it? Yes

I replaced my KDS 19" CRT (which was horrible, for the record) with a 19" Hyundai L90D+ LCD, and was sorely disappointed. Pros Great natural colours. Flat screen. Always brings out the best in digital photos.
Cons Very large and heavy. Actually has bent my desk top because of its weight.
Recommended it? Yes

Nearly 4 yrs old, this old but reliable technology has been great to display my Nikon D70 digital photos. Has a number of preset display e.g. games, photos, TV., I set it to my own liking . Very natural colouring.

Pros Fine dot pitch, narrow screen border, skinny body.
Cons Although the silver screen border is nice black would have been better.
Recommended it? Yes

Damn fine monitor for the money.
I won't bore you with the product specs like many do here because if your interested in this product you can get all those else were. I purchased this monitor as a replacement for my Viewsonic 21" that died after the 3 year warrenty was up.

Pros Great Dot Pitch, High Picture Quality, Great Price to Performance Ratio, Excellent...
Cons Monitor has rare but noticeable glitches. Monitor can't display a true black.
Recommended it? Yes

The monitor in general is well worth the amount spent for it. It only cost me $214.00. So far I would describe this as an above average 19" CRT monitor. Excellent Monitor stable and easy to tweak to my personal needs. I use CAD programs and find the monitor to be easy on the eyes even at high resolutions. Read full review »

Pros large, sharp, refresh rate
Cons since it is a CRT style, it takes up space depth-wise.
Recommended it? Yes

This was the last component that I did not order when I had upgraded my computer. I was sticking with a 15" monitor at first. The sharpness and detail on this screen has definitely won me over, and the price wasn't bad at all.
