The Bottom Line:
Great for anyone who wants to surf the internet on a larger screen and take pictures
The Samsung SCH-U620 (The samsung Sway) is the first cell phone I got, back in April 2009. So far it still works great. It has a decent-sized screen (for cell phones) and slides open and closed to show and hide the numeric keypad. The screen is very bright, which is great since I often use it outside. The only downside is its less-than-average audio quality, and the battery gets used up pretty quick.
This phone downloads text messages and pictures incredibly fast, and the large screen makes browsing the internet easier. It can also play music in MP3 and AAC formats, as well as 3GPP and MPEG-4 videos. It comes with a small headset adapter that connects to the charger slot on the side of the phone, allowing you to connect a 2.5mm audio cable to it (You can use an Xbox 360 headset with this!).
It also has a 2.0 Megapixel camera, which takes pictures at 1600x1200 resolution, larger than most computer monitors. This camera also records video, but at a much lower quality. Videos are recorded in 176x144 size and are saved as 3GPP2 video files. You can transfer files from the phone's 512MB internal memory to your computer using a USB cable, or a MicroSD memory card.
So whether you text & call people 24/7 or take pictures and listen to music all the time, this is a great cell phone. It's extremely durable- I've had it for 9 months and there's not a scratch on it.
On the downside, the worst part is the sound quality. I know cell phones don't usually have crystal-clear sound, but this one is really poor. Sometimes a call will just drop for a few seconds, then come back like the speaker stopped working. Also, the speaker used to make calls is way too loud- sometimes I have to hold it 4-6 inches away from my head or it hurts my ears.
