Samsung SyncMaster 950 P 19 inch CRT Monitor

Buying a Monitor is one of the most important decisions when building a computer. I really felt 19" was the way to go so I did a ton of research. Basically there are your really High Priced Monitors like the Hitachis and Sonys and then there are the Real People monitors that we can actually afford. There are so many choices these days for under 350.00. So I bought the Samsung since these guys are known for giving you more than your money's worth. I definitely was not disappointed and the picture while not quite as nice as my Dell Trinitron 19" at work, was definitely way better than the 350 bucks I spent on it. Text is extremely Crisp and colors are vibrant to say the least. 1600x1200 at 85Hz Refresh Rate is not shabby at all. I have compared the picture to a comparable NEC Model (Multisync), and give the nod to the Samsung. The monitors controls are very easy to use to adjust the picture. The Colorific Software is also a nice enhancement for calibrating this monitor.Also comes with the standard 3 year Warranty. While not quite as good as the more expensive Flat Screen Monitors,this Monitor would definitely be great for Graphics artists on a budget, Hardcore gamers, or people that are just plain sick of their 15" and 17" Monitors . Nice.
