If you are looking for a 19" Monitor, get this one!!!
Pros
Very low price, excellent picture quality, high resolution, great refresh rate, easy to use.
Cons
quite big so takes up lots of desk space, not flat screen.

The Bottom Line:
If you are planning to get a new monitor, then I would suggest this one. You'll get excellent quality and a large screen for a low price.
About two months ago I bought a new computer, and needed a monitor so I started comparing them from reviews in magazines and online.
At first I was mostly looking at 17" monitors because of budget restraints but then I noticed how inexpensive the Samsung 950p was. It also consistently scored highest in most reviews of 19" monitors I read. I found one at Staples for $350 (Canadian, after a rebate), so I decided to buy it. It was definitely a worthwhile purchase.
I had no problems at all setting it up, and its very easy to adjust and use. It has great refresh rates (I'm running at 1280 X 1024 res. at about 85 hertz) and I can't see any flicker at all (the human perception is supposed to be around 75 hertz).
The display looks great and its really useful to have the extra size, especially if you are watching DVD's on you're computer or working in graphics or CAD programs. Also it's Shadow mask technology so you don't get the thin lines across your screen that you get with Aperture grille monitors (that can be very annoying).
For a 19" monitor the power consumption is not bad. It's easy to have it so it goes into standby mode when you're not using it which is a big power saver.
Overall I think this is an excellent monitor. I know people who have used these for years without problems, so apparently the last long, which is great. I highly recommend this monitor.
