Big disappointment from Samsung
Here's the deal: I had already owned their 17 inch model, the 753DF. I *love* that monitor. The colors are incredible (especially the blues) and the sharpness is unmatched by anything I've ever seen in a CRT of a similar size. So the 955DF seemed like an easy choice...

Great monitor for the money
You can't beat the price on this monitor (around $160 if you look) for what you get. Large clear picture, mostly flat screen, fairly sharp text. I'll be brief here as I don't have much to say, but I want to get my 2 cents in here.

955df a good value but you get what you pay for
Extremely sharp .20mm dot pitch means a very sharp image at whatever resolution you choose. I've had mine for about two years. Great For the Average User.
Anything negative I have to say about this monitored must be taken with a grain of salt as the value can't be beat.
It took a ton of tweaking the settings to get the geometry to look decent... but it does look acceptable now.

Great monitor value
I got my hands on these monitors for $200Cad each (I bought 2 of them) For that price I can't complain much. The colour is vibrant and image is crisp (they're powered by a Radeon 9600XT 1600*1200 @60hz) Turn on the highlight zone feature and it's almost blinding (I love that feature!)
