WOW!!!! We love the samsung tv.

Pros wonderful picture, plug ins for everything
Cons nothing so far.
Recommended it? Yes
The Bottom Line:  For the price, you can't get a better 32" tv. We shopped around and are very pleased with the one we brought home.
We have been looking for a tv for our bedroom for almost a year now, but never seemed to have the money. Well, we were in Best Buy for our monthly window shopping and saw the 32" Samsung and were blown away. The picture was very crisp and the sound just blew us away. But, the price was a little steep. It was $449 which was more than we could ever afford right now. It also went in the living room and we moved our 25 inch to the bedroom. I'll get to how we did get it later in this epinion though.

Features for the TV are:
*Easy to operate remote.
*Easy to use on screen menu
*Automatic timer to come on or to turn off
*Adjustable picture settings
*Memorizes favorite settings
*Automatic channel tuning
*A Previous channel button to return to the last channel viewed.
*Fine tuning control for the sharpest pictures
*Built in, multi-channel sound decoder for stereo and audio programs
*Built in dual channel speakers
*Sleep timer
*Headphone jack
*Tri-langual on screen displays (English, Spanish and French)

What this all means is that the tv is loaded. I'm not a big electronics person but this was easy enough for me to learn how to operate without having to do too much reading.

The sound is almost like surround sound. We really loved the way everything sounded so much better. You can set the treble and bass on here for those interested in adding more of either or decreasing either.

The onscreen menu included everything you need to operate it. You can turn it on at specific times and turn it off. Which is nice for vacation times.

It includes jacks for audio, video and cable equipment in the back and in the front. Which is nice for playing video games. That way you can pull out the N64 and plug it in in the front and then unplug and put it back up when you are done. (We have to do this because of our 2 year old)

This tv is equipped with the new vchip technology. My husband played a joke on me by setting the vchip to only allow g rated items to be shown on the tv. Which means I couldn't watch hardly anything. This is nice for kids but not for single people who don't care about restricting what is seen by others.

FOr the picture you can fine tune the colors, settings, contrast, brightness, sharpness, and tint. This has inproved our tv viewing experience greatly. By fine tuning it has cleared up the picture and made the entire view area much crisper and clearer.

You may also memorize the channels and if you want you may label what channel it is. We have cable so most of that just went right into the tv. We don't even need to use our cable box any more since the tv handles it all.

Some other helpful items are:
On screen clock when you want to see it, sleep timer will go off after a preset time, automatic PBS channel setup, it will go directly to PBS with one hit of the button.( you can change which channel for this too, you don't have to use pbs. lol. ) It has closed caption capabilities also for those that need it.

Overall this tv was worth us getting. Best Buy had a deal for if you switched to MSN for 3 years you could get $400 off anything in the store. Needless to say I'm now on msn and have a tv that we paid $49 for.
