Pros Stunning picture, 3D effect, thin, good wide-angle viewing, asthetically pleasing.
Cons Pricey; some fading on edges (“light pumping”) – some will notice this, others won’t.

Pros Amazing picture, truly one of the best out there today.

Pros thin, light, good picture
Cons expensive, bad-out-of-the-box, terrible customer service
Recommended it? No

The TV set itself is incredible...if it worked.  Picture is clear, contrast and resolution are amazing.  Then there's the warranty

Pros Slim, sexy.
Cons Not really backlit.  "Deep Blacks" are sort of a myth with this side lit LED.
Recommended it? Yes

Why is this set listed as back lit on this site and CNET?  It's side lit.  I work for hhgregg and the Samsung rep said that Samsung will be coming out with a "backlit" LED soon that will be 1.8 inches deep as opposed to the current 1.2.

Pros Great color. Very energy efficicient. Very light. RF remote.
Cons Only 1 composite video/1 componenet video. Can improve on Widgets. Not true PIP.

Had my Samsung UN55B8000 TV a couple of weeks now. It has more than lived up to the hype. Hooked it up and put on a blu-ray disk. Even the delivery guy's jaw dropped, and he's delivered/set up hundreds of TVs.

TV is only inch and half thick and only weighs 60 pounds or so.
