SanDisk Fuze (8 GB) Digital Media Player

Being a well known iPod hater i like to shop for many different kinds of mp3 players. Since many of them have one set limit of songs you can put on them and I have an unlimited amount of music I would like to put on, Sansa saved my life and my money.

the Sansdisk Sansa Fuze is the newest in the series and there are noticeable improvements such as the screen quality is much better though some other newer players have better. Through constant use i proved the 24 hours of music play to be off. It only lasted about 19 hours and that's with the screen brightness turned to 60% and minimal button use. Video playback is supposedly 5 hours but i never had the patience since playing videos is only possible after the annoying conversion process. Connecting to the computer is simple and doesn't need software unless you are using older operating systems such as Windows 98.

This player has been amazing to me in that browsing is unglitched. By this i mean you can move from screen to screen without any pauses caused by music playback or allot of songs in you bank. One problem is that you can only access one screen at a time ( you can't browse your music and pause playback while doing it). voice recording is one of my favorite things to use with my friends and since it's in WMV format there is no hassle in transferring it to my computer and sending it. The radio feature is one of the best I've heard in an mp3 player, which is an awesome thing since other players feature it but don't have great reception. Photos are clear and don't need to be converted to any format or size to be on the player but extremely large photos tend to glitch the player a little so i avoid them. Lastly my favorite feature is the micro SD capability which allows you to add 12GB of memory to the already installed 8GB. Having a few of them prevents me form switching from player to player just to listen to certain songs.
