PICTURE:
Image is below average from variety of the sources. When connected to cable (non-HD channels) image is very grainy and not sharp; TV creates an illusion that you're looking through thin film. It is similar to effect from Photoshop called "unsharp mask". Background seems like painted picture rather than video recorded image.
DVD picture looks sharper but same problem with background which seems roughly painted and motion is lagging even when playing yoga video shot outside during bright daylight with slow moving instructor.
