The Bottom Line:
A GREAT find for a Hello Kitty officiando. Looking for top of the line? Keep looking.
Hello Kitty is one of the oldest and most famous "children's" characters. Long ago it was decided that it was a shame for children to have to grow up out of their toys, leaving behind their love for Hello Kitty. So today Hello Kitty's face can be found selling diet pills, refrigerators, exercise machines, motorcycles, cars, condoms and yes, even portable cd players.
This particular cd player includes features for the following: tuning, anti-shock, memory, band, mono, hold, preset, mode, program, BBS (I'm sorry, I haven't figured out just what that is yet) and of course the usual and ever helpful skip up and skip down. So not only can you listen to your cd's but you can also listen to the radio and program a memory into the cd player itself.
Cd player also comes with a cute pair of pink and black headphones, but in my opinion, they won't last very long. I've had a pair that is similar and ended up taping them to get the slider in them to function.
I also didn't notice any warranty with it - no points there.
I also like that the space for the batteries is inside the cd player (under where the cd goes) and it has a sliding button on the front to open the case.
I haven't had mine long but it seems to have a setback. At first it works just fine, but then in the middle of a song it will either hang up on it for a moment or skip to a song a few ahead. Not only that but simply pushing the skip backwords button does not always do what it is supposed to right away and it may take you a few tries.
The sound for the most part is excellent but that also, at times seems to suffer a bit and lag or sound a bit distant (however, simply turning it up higher usually quickly remedies that problem).
So all in all this is not much more than just a very cute compact cd player. If you are looking for top of the line or unbreakableness - search elsewhere. This one has more beauty than substance.
