No
The Bottom Line:
Do not buy. Obvious manufacturer defects in product line.
The company I work for purchased nearly 20 of these monitors from a major on-line computer store. In less than a year, *13* have failed with the *exact* same problem.
The monitor powers on with a dim view of a "No Video" box and quickly goes black. When the computer is turned on, the light turns from red to blue, it's got a signal, only to display the boot text (not even graphics yet) and quickly go black. You can press the power button on the monitor and see the image briefly but, neither text or video will stay up. We've tried other power cables, other power sources, other computers, and got the same results.
With only a one year guarantee and YOU have to pay to ship the defective monitor(s) back for "service". Whatever "value" might be gained from a lower price point is completely lost. We've faxed in the paperwork for the RMAs with a promised 24 hour response time and have received nothing back in over a week. While we were waiting for a response, two more Spectre X7G monitors have failed at another of our locations.
Curiously enough, the reseller no longer carries this product...hmmm. Let the buyer beware!
