We purchase our TV in June, 2006 from Costco. Things were fine for about a year, then it started making a loud humming noise plus all the crackling sounds mentioned in another review. Last week the TV "died". No picture. The color wheel was shot and Sharp will not sell just the color wheel, you have to buy the whole "light box" to the tune of $950. With repair labor that amounts to a cost of a $1200 repair on an $1800 TV. What a rip-off on a 2 year old TV. I will never buy another Sharp product as they obviously do not stand behind what they sell. By the way, the charge for just the lamp is $500. Run the other way quickly from this TV.
