We have had the LC 52D92U for three days now. I have been very impressed with TV. My wife was a little hesitant with spending that much on a TV. She now says she loves it.
I compared several high end flat panels. Plasma and LCD. I didn't like the reflections produced on glass with plasma units. The TV is in my living room, so a dark media room is not an option. Even when its sunny outside I don't see any reflection on this LCD, except around the piano black flame. Which is an assume finish. That and I am also not trying to watch the frame, so the reflection is no problem. I also didn't want to spend this kind of money on a TV that can't display 1080p. I know some plasma units can display 1080p, but at this time they are Very expensive.
The audio is not the best, but sure beats the Pioneer RP we had.
I have played around with some settings and recommend turning the enhanced black option OFF. Its on by default. Also, turn down the Color Temp.
I highly recommend this TV for anybody looking to spend the money.
