Great image, good sound, elegant appearance when off
The Sharp Liquid Crystal TV isn't the cheapest one on the market. However, it has an excellent display which delivers a very realistic picture. Colors are accurate. Detail shows up crisply that dwarfs other tvs in this size range.

Sharp LC-32D40U 32
As other have said the screen will die in and around the 13 - 16 month period. I have the exact same problem. Screen will just go black. Have to turn off, wait, turn back on again; sometimes this fixes the problems other times it does not. I do not have extended warranty so will have to see about... Read full review »
Broke down already
This tv worked well for the first year but then all went to hell...of course, after one year warranty expired. We purchased this tv in March of 2006 to upgrade from our old 20 inch tv. Great Picture
This is the set I have wanted my whole life. Space in my credenza was limited and this fit like a glove. The picture is better than I expected, bright vibrant colors,and beautiful sound. I also bought at BB on sale and so far I am very satisfied. Read full review »
Fantastic picture
Blown away by the clarity of OTA signal. OTA HD is even better. Haven't received my DirectTV HD box yet, but even with the antiquated coaxial cable and SD box, the picture is better than the tube TV I replaced.
