The Bottom Line: Great 32 inch HD high brand name tv under 500 bucks. Easy hookup and out of the box set up. Good picture quality even with not watching an HD show.

We recently purchased this tv and were looking for one that wouldn't wipeout the pocketbook and to update the old one that has been around so long we can't remember where we got it. For the price (around $470) we couldn't go wrong with Sharp. We have researched and read reviews on tv and like to stick with bigger names when making an electronics purchase. It was so easy to hookup, we were watching tv within 15 minutes of getting it out of the box. The picture is pretty good for a 720, and we have another that is a 1080. Even if we aren't watching in HD it still gives a good picture. The 32 inch size is perfect since it is not overwhelming in a room. We did not choose to wall mount, however the instructions appeared to be written very precise so that would wouldn't need professional installation.The only problem we have encountered is that the guide selection on the screen is chopped off on the sides but we are working on this but it does not effect the picture when watching a show, we can still see sports scores and runners on the bottom of channels. We are thinking this is perhaps a cable provider issue, not a problem of the Sharp tv.
