Canon A710 IS is pretty much the complete consumer camera for now.

Very Basic, Good Quality LCD TV
(Background: I had purchased this TV to replace a Vizio 37" LCD. In short, the Aquos costs a few hundred more than the Vizio, but I am very satisfied with the Aquos.)

Initial experience is wonderful.
Dad this set for about a week now.A couple of observations. After watching several movies on my up-convert DVD player using 1080i, I'm thoroughly impressed with this sets picture. This is a good day to day camera which will cover all your usual needs.
The Canon PS A710 IS is a pocketable camera with a wide zoom range and a good amount of manual control.
