Sharp service sucks

great picture for less then 90 days

fragile, all we did was pick it up by the sides and broke the screen

Had television for less then 90 days, watched news on Friday evening lifted it up to put on a table and the set was dead, some verticle pinstripes and one horizontal stripe and some spider webs in the lower center and we are told the LCD screen is broke and that even pressing a thumb on the screen could break it. We have grand kids and were never told about do not touch the screen. The store we purchased this from emailed pictures to Sharp and Sharp says it is "cosmetic damage" and that is not covered by Sharps warranty. Then they offered to fix it for $4400 after we only paid $3350. Save yourself the future headaches and find a different TV.
