I bought the Sharp MD-BDR2 just about 2 weeks ago. I just got plain sick of tapes because they sound very bad. CD's are big, clumsy and most players dont play CD-ReWritables. At first, someone told me to stray from MiniDiscs for their bad quality, however this Sharp pocket player/recorder really does the trick real good. I didn't like the headphones that came along with them (I like in-ears better), however, they sound real well. The real awesome thing about this player is the headphone cable has volume adjust on it. I got about 8 hours out of the rechargable (NiMH i think) battery. The worst thing about this product is that recording kills your battery time. I got about 3 hours recording instead of 8. Great product. Would reccomend to anyone just starting with MiniDiscs.
