Nothing like it.

Pros Just a good overall player.
Cons Battery
Recommended it? Yes
The Bottom Line:  This is a great minidisc player if you don't need to record. If you find it cheap buy it.
First off all Minidisc players are excellent. This player I happened to buy when it was on sale so it only cost me $80. Great deal. I have never spent that money better. This minidisc player doesn't record discs, it only plays them. If you need to record you have to buy a seperate component. The small clip lcd readout is just great if gives you the options of a scrolling title, or time remaining. You can easily select tracks, fast forward and rewind with the touch of a button. There is only one thing I have noticed about this product and that is when I let the player sit for a while its battery has drained. This is a problem since I have to play ahead if I want to use it. I skate, one day I had this player in my pocket and I dropped 8 feet in the air onto the ground landing on the player. It didn't skip, like I expected but it also didn't scratch, break or damage the player in any fashion. Great durability. This product offers everything I needed in a minidisc player. Except recording. This player also produces great sound, combined with a nice set of headphones. The player offers 3 levels of bass volume and its normal volume control is strong enough so that I don't even have to turn it up all the way. Very easy to use. Just press a button and your on. When this battery doesn't sit it can last a long time. I have listened to 5 or 6 minidiscs easily on one battery.
