Nice Minidisc Player/Recorder
Pros
Nice feature set. Recordable, functional remote, everything included.
Cons
Carrying case is really a bag.
Recommended it?
Yes
The Bottom Line:
If you need an inexpensive player that can also record, get this unit!
I acquired my Sharp MD-SR60 remanufactured, so it was only $94. Everything is included in the package which is really nice. It includes RCA connectors, optical connectors, AC adapter, headphones, remote control and carrying bag. I especially like the optical cable that I can connect to my PS2 and do synchronized recording.
Sound quality is excellent with optional bass attenuation.
The weakest point would have to be the headphones, although they are not unacceptable, just not of the quality of the rest of the components. I also find the bag to be useless to me since it is really just a bag. I would have preferred a belt clip so that I can wear the unit while I am at the gym.
This is a highly recommended player for the price.
