I received a Sharp SDPX2 DVD player as a Christmas present from my wife. It is mated to a set of Advent speakers and connected to a Sharp DT-300 projector.
I am sold on Sharp Products. They along with Panasonic seem to be manufacturing the best consumer electronics on the market these days.
The picture quality on the SDPX2 is very good and this player has a number of picture adjustments that you just don't find on most other DVD players including a sharpness control.
Many folks have the mistaken notion that all DVD players are the same. Well, just take a look at this unit and you will be sure to see with your own eyes that there IS a big difference in video quality between players.
