The Bottom Line:
If you want the latest, here it is. If you are looking for functionality, stay away.
I purchased the Sidekick LX as a new customer of T-Mobile mainly because of the full qwerty keyboard and the flip screen design, since I do text a lot. I also like to have the latest in technology, which is what swayed me to spend the astronomical amount of $ that I did on this phone. I have had the phone for two days and here is what I have found:
Web Browser - Less than desirable connection speed, some frames do not display correctly.
Phone Sound Quality - Very Poor, most people on the other end cannot hear me speaking, and vice versa even when the volume is turned up all the way.
Awkward Design - The numbers are located at the very top of the keyboard and a little too close to the flip screen, especially if you have fingernails which makes it hard to dial.
The screen size is great, but once again, the design of the phone is awkward in general and difficult to use.
If you are looking for the latest, greatest Sidekick, this one's for you. If you want something that has style as well as functionality, well, go with another phone.
I will be returning my Sidekick LX today and hopefully ending up with a phone that is feature packed and still easy to use.
