Pros High-speed rewind, easy set-up, easy programming

When our Toshiba 4-head VCR decided to quit tracking, and the Go-Video Dual (8mm and VHS) deck decided that it wouldn't keep a tape inside, we knew it was time to shop for a new VCR.

We use the VCR in our home everyday. My daughter uses it to watch all of her favorite videos and I use it to record my favorite ABC soap operas everyday. I bought this VCR online from Mercata.com in December of 1999 and am completely satisfied with it.

I have bought many VCRs in the past twenty years and most brands. I have always been disappointed by the graininess of most of the ones I have used. No matter how much I have paid for what are, basically, domestic machines the quality has never been what I would call 'excellent'.
