Great projector for the price

I have been using the projector with home entertainment system for 5 months now. I don't get out much any more. It seems that my basement, where the projector is setup in a dedicated theatre room became the center of the universe for me. The projector is performing without a problem. The brightness was low for ambient light but you can't beat the quality of the image. My screen is 200" diagonal and I can't see the pixels sitting 10' away. I have it setup with HDTV and Media Center PC that allows me to play PC games. Have you seen DOOM3 on 200" screen? Buy it. You will not regret your choice, but if you can afford the HD2+ XV-Z12000 unit, because you have a lot of cash, go with it. You will not have to worry about ambient light. Don't worry about he noise. You can't hear anything with surround sound on.
