The Bottom Line:
I recommend that no one buy an SA248 because the sound quality is very poor.
I bought the SA 248 from a Chicago area Sharper Image store. When I brought it home, I discovered that the device I had purchased did not pick up vocals, or any other "lead" music. Thinking that I had simply had bad luck, I returned the SA 248 to the store and exchanged it for another. I bought the new stereo home, and it had the exact same problem. So I called Sharper Image's 800 number, and they sent a new SA 248 from the factory. This time, the stereo only randomly picked up vocals and other "lead" music. While random is better than none, it is still not good. I am in the process of returning the SA 248 and getting my money back. While this product obviously looks cool, it has not been a good purchase.
