$300 Door Stop
There is really nothing nice to say about this. It is completely non user friendly. The CDs don't play about half of the time, you need to take them all out and put them back in 1 at a time. Nice unit. Will appeal to certain buyers more than others.
The Sharper Image SA-248 can still be purchased on ebay and on the internet. It was a fairly popular unit at one time. It originally cost $299 at Sharper Image, but you can usually find it for approx half that price now.

Poor sound quality; Does not pick up vocals
I bought the SA 248 from a Chicago area Sharper Image store. When I brought it home, I discovered that the device I had purchased did not pick up vocals, or any other "lead" music.
