Introduction to the Siemens A-56

The Siemens A-56 / C-56 Cell phones belong to a wireless phone category; we call "candy-bar phones" Why? Because it looks like a candy bar and it does not open like flip phones do. These phones do not have a sticking out antenna on them either. There are... Read full review »

Cons long games load times, hard to retrieve a phone number
Recommended it? Yes

I've have always used Motorola since the first day I bought a mobile phone. Ads led me to believe they had the best range, battery life and were strong enough to withstand falls; nowadays I beg to differ.

Buying the CT-65 was a change of paradigm for me, which proved to be the right... Read full review »

Pros Very small & light, easy to read keys, excellent reception, speakerphone
Cons Too small?
Recommended it? Yes

I purchased this phone to replace my Sony Ericsson T306. Best move I've ever made.

This Siemens phone is ultra-small and ultra-light. I can hardly tell it is in my pocket. Although it is small, the buttons are large enough that it isn't difficult to use them.

The screen is also... Read full review »

Pros Small, speakerphone neat, nice ringtones, good reception
Cons Small, case creaks in my ear, drops calls, looks like bar of soap, unresponsive buttons
Recommended it? No

Initially I really liked this phone.....the ringtones, amber lighting, people commenting on the size....but I am getting rid of it. It is too small to cradle on my shoulder, the case makes a creaking sound all the time that drives me friggin crazy, and my service has been bad since the first day I... Read full review »

Stay away from this phone unless you want to get ripped off.

byiptay18 Jul 24, 2003

Pros small, light, amber screen
Cons It's a Siemens phone
Recommended it? No

The screen scratches too easy, you barely hear someone one minute, the next you are searching for blood from your busted eardrum because the volume for some reason decided to jump a decibel level off the charts. Bad reception, poor signal quality, too many buttons to push to get to your phone book,... Read full review »

Pros Compact size, speaker phone.
Cons Bad reception, low ring volume.

I got this cell phone for $10 with a Cingular's two year contract. Its compact size was the first thing I like since I usually carry my cell phone in my pocket. Once I started to use it I noticed that the ring volume was not as loud as my previous cell phone. So I need to select the louder ringer... Read full review »

Pros Small Size, Cool Design.
Cons No Color Screen.

I love this phone. It is one of the best ever, it is small and light but still loaded with features. I have always been a fan of Siemens products, and this phone is a good example of how well there products are made. I have dropped this phone a lot, and it still works fine. The orange backlight is... Read full review »
