A low light triumph!
This review is based on the Nikon mount and tested on a Nikon D80. This lens costs under 400.00 US in most places. Do NOT buy it from anyone but a well respected seller since sample variations might call for an exchange!

Poor image quality
I was really disappointed with this lens. Took a few photos and things didn't look very sharp, so I did some testing, and I was surprised my the VERY soft images. Even my zoom lens were very much sharper.

Fantastic Digital Normal lens for the price

This lens is sharp at the center wide open.
Becomes very sharp as you stop it down at the corners.
at f8, the corners are pixel-peeping sharp.
Focus speed is ok.
Focus calibration might be an issue between copies, Sigma's Service center in NY will fix it or you can just return...
